So you’ve used all of the great sculpting and modeling tools in Fusion 360 to finish creating your assembly. That’s great, but the job isn’t done yet! To ensure that your design is going to work the way you want, you’re going to need to set up a motion study to analyze the rotation and translation of the different parts in your assembly. Based on the joints between parts and limits defined, you will be able to quickly determine how your parts interact and avoid any unforeseen design issues
To help you learn how to do this, Sachlene Singh, Fusion 360 Technical Evangelist extraordinaire has created this simple 5 minute video to show you what you need to know. Here you will learn how to take the joints that you have applied to your parts and create limits to define their motion. In addition, you will learn a few key tips to help speed this process along and understand when these assignments will be copied over from part to part or need to be redefined. Check out her video below and begin taking those final steps towards model creation!
