Your Ideas from the Fusion 360 IdeaStation
We take your suggestions very seriously as they help to shape Fusion 360, so please share your ideas and vote for new features / enhancements you would like to see. Here are a few submissions from the week:
- 2D Text on a Radius Path – Any word on when the ability to draw 2D text that follows a given radius will be available?
- Extending an Extrusion to Faces, Planes, or Next – When using Extrude function…currently can only Extend to “Distance”, “To Object” and “All”. It would be great to have more options to extend to such as” Faces, Planes and Next (which tags to next available feature in that direction).
- Custom Thread or at Least a Helix Function – I really need a custom thread function (I design all kinds of bottle closures) where you can create a custom thread by sweeping a sketched profile along a helix without rotating or twisting.
Have a story to share? We would love to hear more about you and how you’re using Fusion 360! Shoot me an email at Shannon.McGarry@autodesk.com
