A couple weeks ago, Smeggy asked us on the IdeaStation if we had a plan around adaptive viewport degration, meaning when you’re rotating and moving around your model, the visual quality is temporarily decreased to allow faster movements and better performance. We don’t do this today in Fusion 360, but it is an interesting idea and can be something we consider in the long term. In the meantime, here was a response video I made to Smeggy’s request, showing him some of the ways you can increase performance by tweaking a couple of settings within Fusion 360. If you’re not aware of these settings, it could help better your Fusion 360 experience!
