Your Ideas from the Fusion IdeaStation
We have received 15 new ideas in the past week. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions!
We take our users recommendations very seriously, so please share your ideas and product requests, and vote for the features you want to see implemented, on the IdeaStation. Here are a few of the most popular recent ideas.
Color coded fillets when using multiple selections
Idea under review to have each fillet size selection color coded or numbered etc.
Product team – “Creative thinking! I’ve encountered the same situation and it never really crossed my mind to do something about it and this seems like a simple way to do it.”
Idea under future consideration where parts brought into an assembly will allow you to select what version to use (at any time, not just on insert)
Product team – “This is a necessity at some point, and will be tied in with the improvements in associativity / xreffing in the future. I’m not sure if this will be in the first release of those improvements, but definitely should be in there sooner rather than later.”
Variable radius across multiple edges
New idea to be able to have one variable radius (from A to B) transition smoothly through multiple edges.
Product team – “This can be a bit of a pain to work through! When you have encountered this, did you think of any options that we would be able to implement to make this easier? Is it just a ctrl + rc to select everything you want, or is there another way that you would like to see this implemented? This could be pretty helpful, let me know how you think it would look when implemented.”
