Today’s QUICK TIP is all about how to get fast feedback and design help on your next Fusion 360 project. In my position, I get a lot of Fusion 360 users who reach out to me for help, and through those attempts, I’ve explored many different ways to provide guidance. In the following video, I’ll show you three powerful ways of working with others–most of which are only possible with a cloud based design tool–that I hope will help the next time you’re stuck.
We’ll start with the “live review”, a preview technology which opens up synchronous feedback and view manipulation, before moving onto public share links. These I hope you’ve heard of, but in a nutshell, it’s a quick way to share files, which also ensures the recipient is always looking at the latest design. At the end, I’ll show something so easy and powerful, it’s overlooked on most occasions…
The last method is by far my favorite because it is simple to enact, but provides FULL design detail and version history. That knowledge and information proves invaluable in rooting out issues with a design or understanding where someone might have made a wrong turn.
I hope these methods –and your collaborators– help out the next time you’re stuck! Thanks for reading!
