In this week’s QUICK TIP, I’m going to show you how I’m able to get some nice looking renders out of Fusion 360 in a short amount of time. My goal is NOT to dive into each and every option available to you, but instead to show you the options and settings that I find make the biggest impact on rendering quality. This includes the environment definition and background, depth of field and focal length, all while using the in-canvas rendering tool to gain insight on the changes you’ll be making –and some caveats related to in-canvas settings. Check it out below:
You might have noticed I glanced over the appearances section. That’s partially because it’s deserving of its own tip, which I started to cover in some detail last week. Check out that tip by clicking here, but as the comments show, I plan on following up on that later to get into those more intricate details.
Anyway, I hope that helps you understand some of these concepts!
