Quick Tip: Archive Projects (and Recover!)
Check out this week’s quick tip to learn how to make sheet metal flanges update parametrically. Once you understand how to combine the flange and extrude tool, your flanges will update automatically.

Your Ideas from the Fusion 360 IdeaStation
We take your suggestions very seriously as they help to shape Fusion 360, so please share your ideas and vote for new features / enhancements you would like to see. Here are a few submissions from the week:
- Specify Surface for Datum Target – Currently you can only specify an entire surface, but it would be useful to mark actual locations for the datum.
- Control Feature Under Dimension – Right now the indication of control features with dimensions is quite messy. It would be useful to have a control feature with the dimension’s option.
- 2018 Large Assembly Performance Community Initiative – I’d like to propose an initiative centered around improving the performance of large assemblies in Fusion 360 and coming with a realistic specification of performance expectations for large models.
Have a story to share? We would love to hear more about you and how you’re using Fusion 360! Shoot me an email at Shannon.McGarry@autodesk.com
