See how Fusion partners are showing up in a big way to Autodesk University 2023, from classes to hands-on experiences.
We’re back, baby! Registration is open for Autodesk University 2023, happening November 13-15 in Las Vegas, Nevada. You know what that means: it’s time to start packing your schedule with Fusion classes and special events.
One thing we’re particularly excited about this year? Our impressive network of industry partners is once again showing up to AU in a big way—and not only as event sponsors.
The Autodesk partner ecosystem delivers modern design and manufacturing, enabling the Fusion community to leverage the latest advancements in sustainable design, toolpath automation, data management, automated manufacturing, and more.
AU 2023 features a stacked lineup of Fusion-focused courses led by partner representatives, and you’ll also find them showing off their integrations and innovation throughout the expo floor.
Check out this list of partner-led classes you won’t want to miss during your experience, and be sure to say hi to our partners as you peruse the expo floor next month.
Fusion connects shared data across your processes and tools to help designers, machinists, and business leaders make better decisions and improve profitability and sustainability. Join Dan Skulan, General Manager, Industrial Metrology, Renishaw, Inc., Kim Davis, VP Global Partnerships, Ansys, James Monighan, CPO, CloudNC and Ty Wang, North American Business Director, Makersite for a panel discussion that explores three of the latest trends in manufacturing: AI, automation, and sustainability.
CAM Assist, a new software system from CloudNC, autocompletes much of the difficult work involved with programming a CNC machine to manufacture a component. The CAM Assist add-in for Autodesk Fusion is newly available for Autodesk customers. In this session, CloudNC founder Theo Saville shows how CAM Assist generates professional machining strategies in seconds, enabling any user to reduce their CAM programming time and operate at a more advanced level, with greater consistency.
The strategic partnership between Autodesk and ModuleWorks is making best-in-class 5-axis technology available to the Fusion user base. And tomorrow, the benefits of this partnership are likely to be even greater, empowering an open workflow between software and hardware. This presentation will highlight Fusion’s journey with ModuleWorks: past, present, and future.
This session will highlight the importance of eco-design in reducing the overall environmental impact of products and services. The re-designed Ecoflo system, an on-site wastewater treatment system, now has a modular design made with recycled content and supports the circular economy. This session will present how eco-design was integrated into the development of the new Ecoflo product and how Fusion and the Makersite add-in were maximized to deliver long-lasting positive impacts.
In a world where we spend days trying to reduce cycle times on CAM programs and spend thousands on special tooling, taking charge of your in-process control to reduce scrap can be a cost-effective way of increasing your productivity. In this class, you’ll see how Autodesk Fusion and Renishaw are your perfect partners in quality control and discuss real case studies where scrap was reduced to less than 1% by implementing in-process control. Learn how you can fully maximize tools you already own and take steps toward process control and automation.
Each year, our team designs and develops a consumer product that we then fabricate live at Autodesk University. Attendees can explore our mini factory floor installation in real life and help build a product of their own to take home. At this year’s expo, attendees will make plastic keypads by walking through the entire product development process alongside members of the Autodesk team and representatives from our partner ecosystem. Don’t miss your chance to experience a full workflow—from prototype to product—with Fusion and our partners.
