Introducing Fusion 360 Development Update Week, a week of development updates straight from our team.

Since Fusion 360 entered the market, our team has strived to keep you posted on new releases and projects in our pipeline. Previously, we shared this information with you via our annual roadmap updates. These blog posts were always mutually beneficial. They gave you a sense of where we were focusing our resources, and they gave us a way to hear your thoughts on what features are most important to you. Moving forward, we’re looking to expand our roadmap structure to give you more up-to-date information directly from our product team.

Reimagining Fusion 360 Roadmaps

You’re focused on your day-to-day tasks, so you may not have the chance to pay attention to every Fusion 360 product update (we know they happen a lot!). As Fusion 360 grows, it has become more challenging to include every update we want to share with you in a single blog post. A single post doesn’t give us the breathing room we need to dive deep into specific projects and cover the different disciplines Fusion 360 represents.

So, with that in mind, we’re shifting from a single development update blog post to more focused updates on a regular cadence moving forward. Without further ado, we’d like to welcome you to our first Fusion 360 Development Update Week!

What is Fusion 360 Development Update Week?

Fusion 360 Development Update Week lets you take a step back from our monthly updates by featuring only the most notable features launched since the start of 2021. Throughout this week, we will publish a dedicated blog post for the following pillars of the Fusion 360 platform:

These consolidated updates are written by our product teams who work directly on the functionality described in each respective blog post. We want you to hear from us more regularly and to know that we’re constantly listening to and implementing your feedback. Our aim moving forward is to host a Fusion 360 Development Update Week quarterly. This week, we’ll start by covering Summer 2021.

Thanks for tuning in to our first Development Update Week! Check out the full week’s content below, and be sure to stay tuned for our future quarterly Development Updates.
