We’re happy to announce the newest Generative Design tutorial in the Fusion 360 Product Documentation! It covers multiple Fusion 360 manufacturing methods (Unrestricted, Additive, 2.5-,3-,5-Axis Milling, 2 Axis Cutting, and Die Casting), and it incorporates the new Cost Estimation feature that is in a preview stage, giving you a chance to get some hands-on practice with Costing.

This tutorial leads you through the set-up of different manufacturing methods to identify the best outcome for the requirements. You will gain experience exploring outcomes in terms of manufacturing methods and estimated manufacturing cost.

The “Ready to Generate” and “Ready to Explore” sample files are predefined for the tutorial and available from the Data Panel. The “Ready to Explore” sample files include example outcomes for several manufacturing methods so you start with completed outcome if you want.
