Your Ideas from the Fusion 360 IdeaStation
We take your suggestions very seriously as they help to shape Fusion 360. Please share your ideas and vote for new features / enhancements you would like to see. Here are a few submissions from the week:
- Add option to make hole the proper drill size for a given tap – Since you’ve just added threading options to the create hole operation, it might be good to add support for drilling holes of the right size for tapping a specified thread later.
- Make it easier to fix projection source lost errors – It would be nice to be able to have a “re-associate” action (similar to drawings) which allows you to pick a new source.
- Make it possible to use a user parameter with value 0 in sketch dimensions – If I create a parameter with value of 0 and use it in a sketch dimension, Fusion 360 doesn’t allow me. If set the value to non-zero (e.g. 0.1) and use it and then go back and change to 0, this is OK. So why not make it possible to do this without these extra steps?
