ANNOUNCEMENT – CADENAS’ parts4cad app supports users of Fusion 360 in their designs

This new app gives you access to millions of 3D CAD models. Components can be configured individually and then integrated directly into existing designs in Fusion 360.

We take our user’s ideas very seriously so please share your requests and vote for new features / enhancements on the IdeaStation.

 

We received 32 new ideas this week! Here are a few of them. Be sure to check them all out and vote for those you would like to see implemented. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions!

 

Obvious highlighting in the browser when a component is activated

Request to have more obvious highlighting in the browser for component activation.

 

Animate using joints

Request to have the ability to make animations that demonstrate how a part is supposed to move.

 

Product team – “Great feedback! We are already starting to investigate how to do this, so stay tuned for join support in the animations module in the future. In the meantime, you can manually simulate these kinds of animations in the Animations workspace by using the Transform tools and managing those actions on the timeline.”

 

Create Parameter Name whilst adding a Sketch Dimension

Request to have the ability to create a new name for Parameters when placing a new Sketch Dimension.
