Product Roadmap Update – February 2018
It’s true though, we all feel like a visionary when we’re designing in Fusion 360, making the next best thing and moving the world forward. Here’s an update on the things we’re working on.
If you’ve ever wanted to export your Fusion designs to OBJ, SketchUp, or other types not available from within the Export command, you’ll want to watch this QT.

Your Ideas from the Fusion 360 IdeaStation
We take your suggestions very seriously as they help to shape Fusion 360, so please share your ideas and vote for new features / enhancements you would like to see. Here are a few submissions from the week:
- Copy Multiple – I would like the Copy/Move tool to have an apply -button. After pressing apply the component will get copied to the new location but it will not close the tool, nor will the tool lose the selection, move type and pivot point that is set up.
- Bring All the Export Extensions from Fusion Team into Fusion 360 Desktop App – Why do we have to open Fusion Team to get access to more export options?
- Sheet Metal – Sketch Bend Line – Can we have a basic sketched bend line function? Existing sheet metal flat patterns or DXF’s from another CAD system could then be imported into Fusion, turned into a sheet metal part and bend lines could be added manually to create a usable sheet metal model.
Have a story to share? We would love to hear more about you and how you’re using Fusion 360! Shoot me an email at Shannon.McGarry@autodesk.com
