Your Ideas from the Fusion 360 IdeaStation
We take your suggestions very seriously as they help to shape Fusion 360, so please share your ideas and vote for new features / enhancements you would like to see. Here are a few submissions from this week:
- Auto trace around an image – This really useful if you’re dealing with logos that people send you and you want to transfer them into your sketch quickly. It saves having to manually trace round an inserted image.
- Checkbox in the Fusion installer to download all materials – It would be nice if the Fusion installer had a checkbox we could check that would download all the materials on install.
- Create drawing views from local, not global, coordinate system (or similar ref) – Drawings of individual components are currently created using its global orientation in the model. This has serious issues. You need a local, fixed orientation (not merely a view) to create stable drawings from.
Have a story to share? We would love to hear more about you and how you’re using Fusion 360! Shoot me an email at Shannon.McGarry@autodesk.com
