Your Ideas from the Fusion 360 IdeaStation
We take your suggestions very seriously as they help to shape Fusion 360, so please share your ideas and vote for new features / enhancements you would like to see. Here are a few submissions from the week:
- Should Sheet Metal Flanges Fuse When Touching? I Think Not – When you create a sheet metal body, where you close an item so they just touch, the ends fuse instead of staying separate. That does not really make sense when modelling with sheet metal.
- Enable “Model” Units of Measure in Drawings – When entering the “Drawing” workspace, for the same “design”, Fusion 360 currently limits the units of measure to either “inches” or “millimeters”.
- Unfold in Animation – It would be very cool if it was possible to unfold sheet metal components in animations.
