Elevate your design and manufacturing processes with Autodesk Fusion
This update removes the Step-by-Step tutorial launchpad so that we can introduce a better on-board experience for users getting into Fusion 360 for the first time. Expect to see a new on-boarding experience towards the end of February.
Based on your feedback, we’ve been busy improving the initial onboarding experience so that you can get up and running with the software with all the necessary essentials. Many of you have voiced frustrations with navigation, how to import design files, and getting familiar with your surroundings to start design, and we heard you loud and clear.
New On-boarding Experience Coming Soon
Instead of the Step-by-Step tutorials popping up when you sign into Fusion 360 for the first time, the next iteration of our on-boarding experience will greet you with a palette docked on the right side of the window that allows you to choose your CAD experience, set your default units, watch a couple very quick videos, and get a feel for your navigation key combos. Depending on what you select as your CAD experience, navigation and learning content will also change and be better catered to what you would typically look for when you are getting started with Fusion 360. Think of this as your own “welcome care package”, and it’s only the beginning of a more personalized learning experience we’re working on. We expect this experience to show up sometime in February.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for tutorials, check out our the training tutorials as well as our Fusion 360 for Beginners playlist on our YouTube channel.
Cheers,
Keqing and the Fusion 360 Team
