For November, we expect to deliver annotation enhancements including GD&T symbols (feature control frames and datum identifiers). This has been a top request and we excited to be able to finally get this out to customers.
Dimensioning will get easier with a new single dimension command, along with formatting improvements including control over trailing zeros. We have also made performance improvements to view creation and will be adding shaded views and exploded assembly views.
In addition to these drawing improvements there are other improvements we will preview as we get closer and have videos and images to share. We also continue to focus on overall robustness and usability improvements.
You won’t have to wait until November to experience improvements! In the coming weeks there will be smaller continuous updates rolling out. In particular, you will see improvements that help you create derivative assets like posting G-code, and saving screen captures or renderings. Additionally, you will now be able you to save these to your project directly. We are looking forward to getting this update out to the community.
Roadmaps are plans, not promises. We’re as excited as you to see new functionality make it into the products, but the development, release, and timing of any features or functionality remains at our sole discretion. These roadmaps should not be used to make purchasing decisions.
