Autodesk AEC Collection - Implementation and training project- ENCOMPASS
Encompass Tiba Latin America S.A. is a provider of satellite, telecommunications and comprehensive content management services for television signals. Established for more than a decade in Buenos Aires, the company offers multiple services for video transmission, including management, distribution and content collection. With the rapid growth of the Latin American market, driven by the demand for pay TV, the increase in channels and the conversion from SD to HD, they saw the need to incorporate tools for the correct and rapid installation of satellite transmission antennas, to supply that growing demand.Encompass had the need to design, carry out the electrical planning and installation of the architectural structures of its antennas. They were using Autodesk Inventor (but not being a manufacturing company made it difficult for them to start up and plan). Therefore, they saw the need to replace this software with Autodesk Revit, also incorporating Autocad 2D and 3D and Autocad Electrical, since these software resolved their needs more efficiently. After analyzing their requirements, Cadsyst chose to propose the acquisition of the Autodesk AEC collection, with which they could use several of their programs, both for planning, installation and commissioning of their satellite antennas.
