Solution

Following the initial consultation, the Technical team from AL SUWAIDI understood the exact scope of work and started working towards finding the best possible solution. AL SUWAIDI offered the Autodesk AEC Industry Collection Platform to DUTCO for a complete workflow solution. This resolved the issue of real-time project challenges and documentations and delivered a single platform on which teams can work together on different disciplines of engineering to give detailed information to clients.

Preparing 2D drawings and sharing with stakeholders were not found easy since the comments, design changes, and markup required better understanding. We heard about BIM and its benefits including easy integration with CAD drawings and cloud collaboration to the stakeholders. We engaged to learn and practise BIM for the near future and current projects. Sharing models with revised comments and markups are so handy now to meet the project team ideas required in our RFIs.  Finding clashes within our models and resolving them were tight with the 2D drafting process.  Now, it is very understandable with quick solutions using BIM models and the necessary skills adopted to be more competitive.
