Gunnebo India provides state of the art security solutions and services from its repertoire of global and Indian products under license from The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).The challenge faced by Gunnebo was to make a Safe-Class AAA that complies with the standards required by the customer.

Project goals

Priority project goals identified were as follows: 1) Manufacture Safe-Class AAA which is a niche product and it would be the first time that such type of a safe will be manufactured in the segment. 2) Meet time constraints demanded by the Project. 3) Comply with the manufacturing standards while keeping safety and security in mind.

Solution

After understanding the kind of product that the team will be working on and the type of toolset that will be required to successfully manufacture the product, Neilsoft understood that the requirement would be fulfilled by the Autodesk Product Design & Manufacturing Collection. The Designing, Modeling and Drafting needs were well taken care of by Autodesk Inventor. The nesting of sheet metal components were also performed in an efficient manner.
