Transformation from Microstation to Autodesk- A Work in Progress!

Customer challenge

The US Army Corps of Engineers' involvement in works “of a civil nature” dates back almost to the origins of the United States. Over the years, as the nation's needs have changed, so have the Army's Civil Works missions. As there have been changes in time, there have been changes in software.

Project goals

Case Technologies needed to aid in a smooth software transition from one software to another through our training and consulting department.

Solution

A few years ago, we were able to help our client out with the desired Revit training and consulting that was needed. Just recently, we were able to aid in the transition of using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.

Business outcome

By becoming trained appropriately, their staff will be proficient in the software that is being showcased. This will enable their staff to have no lag times in their project production times.

Conclusion

They received hands on training using data from their own projects. Being able to use their own data enabled them to see how the software will work in their typical project environment.
