Issue:

How to add custom paper sizes to a system printer so that they can be used in AutoCAD.

Solution:

The process of adding custom paper sizes to a system printer driver will vary from driver to driver. Custom paper sizes for system printers will be available to any application that can print, not just AutoCAD.

To add a custom paper size to a system printer:
  1. Open the printers folder in Windows by clicking the Start menu and choosing Devices and Printers (or type 'devices and printers' in the Start menu, Start screen, or taskbar search).
  2. Right-click the printer driver and choose Printer Preferences.
  3. Look for a tab (such as Layout) that shows paper sizes and then find a setting that allows entering a custom paper size (consult the Help support of the printer for additional assistance).
