How to add a customized profile into an AutoCAD online deployment

Issue:

When a particular set of AutoCAD items, tools, content and options are required to be included in an online deployment, they can be included within the 'customizations' tab as an .arg file. This .arg can then be installed as part of an installation.

Solution:

In order to include a custom profile within an online deployment, please follow the steps below:
  1. Create a custom profile (.arg file), review the guide on how to do this by reviewing: To Work With Saving and Using Profiles
  2. Next, log into the Autodesk account and navigate to the 'Custom Install' tab located on the left-hand side.
  3. Specify the required license type and product.
  4. This will prompt a secondary window to display on the right-hand side, select the Customization drop-down section.
  5. At the bottom of this section there is an option labeled 'Custom Profile', this is where the custom profile (.arg file) can be implemented.
