Issue:

How to manually uninstall AutoCAD-based products to remove all residual files.

Solution:

To manually uninstall the program:
  1. Uninstall the program through the Control Panel.
  2. Delete the residual AutoCAD folders from these locations:
  • C:\Program Files\Autodesk\
  • C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\
  • C:\Users\All Users\
  • C:\Users\<User ID>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\
  • C:\Users\<User ID>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\
  1. Delete the content of the %TEMP%-folder (skip those files and folders where you are asked for. This file and folders are currently in use).

For problematic installs, the Microsoft Fix It tool can also be used to uninstall:
  1. Access Microsoft Fixit.
  2. Click "Run Now" to download.
  3. Run the downloaded .exe file.
  4. Click "Accept."
  5. Click "Detect problems and let me select the fixes to apply."
  6. Click "Uninstalling." 
  7. Select the program in the list and click "Next"and follow the prompts. 
  8. After the process is complete, run the above steps a second time and look for the program again. If the program is still present, or an associated language pack remains, uninstall it.
