Issue:

Information about the compatibility of Advance Steel product with Windows 11 operating system.
 

Environment:

Windows 11

Solution:

Advance Steel product is compatible with Windows 11 operating system.

Notes:
  • It is highly recommended to update all hardware drivers to Windows 11, prior installing AutoCAD / Advance Steel product.
  • If possible, it is recommended to install directly the official release of Windows 11.
    • Avoid installing Windows 11 official release over Windows 11 Beta version.
  • Advance Steel is using Microsoft SQL LocalDB 2014 SP(1..3) / SQL databases.
  • Currently Microsoft did not officially add Windows 11 on the list of supported operating systems for SQL Server 2014:
  • There is an active issue / limitation related to SQL Server running on Windows 11 when system disk sector size is greater than 4 KB:
