Issue:

Is it possible to install multiple year versions of Vault Client on the same machine?

For example:
Is it possible to install Vault Professional Client version 2022 and 2024 in the same machine?

Is there any reason to not install or pre-install newer versions of the client?

Connecting to multiple Vault servers

Solution:

Multiple versions of the Vault Client can be installed in the same environment.
The only restriction is that only one version of the client can be opened at a time. One version of the client must be closed before a different version is opened.
Using a newer version of Vault Client and trying to connect to an older version of a Vault Server will run into an error.
There is a known issue when removing a previous version client MS Office add-ins are removed as well, installing the client updates resolves this issue
