Issue:

When creating a 2D drawing from a Fusion 360, the design or some of its components are invisible. This might happen for a STEP model imported into Fusion 360.

If not disabled previously, the following warning is displayed before entering the drawing workspace:

Mesh, T-Spline and surface bodies will not be included in drawing.

Causes:

The model contains surface, mesh, or sculpt (t-spline) bodies. Fusion 360 Drawings do not support these body types. Only Solid Bodies (BRep) will be displayed.

Solution:

Follow the articles below to modify any surface, mesh, or sculpt (T-Spline) bodies within the design, so that it contains only solid bodies: Alternatively, clear the cache.
