Causes:

This behavior can occur when there is bad data in the user.config file.

Solution:

Update Revit

Recreate user.config

  1. Go to this path:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local
  1. Rename "Autodesk,_Inc" to Autodesk,_Inc_OLD

Note: This will affect all installed versions of Revit. If there are issues with other Revit versions after renaming "Autodesk,_Inc" folder, copy the contents of the OLD folder into the new folder, skipping any existing items.

  1. Open Revit.

  2. Open a Cloud model.
