Issue:

The System requirements for Vault Server state specific SQL Server CU (Cumulative Updates) as requirement.
Is it also supported to use a comparable GDR instead when installing or upgrading the Vault Server?

Solution:

Vault and SQL Server version support

Vault is only supported on systems that meet the System requirements for Autodesk Vault products.
The GDR branch of SQL server is the same as the original release of that version of SQL server RTM (release to manufacturing) with only security updates applied. This means support of GDR versions are dependent on the RTM version of SQL being supported by Vault
