When launching Autodesk software this error appears below.

Program.exe - System Error

The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

Causes:

Corrupted Microsoft Visual C++ library.

Solution:

Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Visual C++

  1. Open Control Panel and go to Programs & Features.

  2. Go to Microsoft Visual C++.

  3. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2012, 2013, 2015-2022.

  4. Download Microsoft Visual C++ and install.
