"Program number is out of range" when post processing from Fusion

Issue:

The following error appears when post processing from Fusion or Autodesk HSM:

Error: Program number is out of range. 

Causes:

The program number is out of the expected range of the post processor.

Solution:

Change the program number to fall within the range expected or adjust the range expected. Some post processors will have a field in the post processor dialogue to adjust the range. To find the expected range on the post processor in question, open the post processor in a text editor and search for the error text to find a snippet of code like this:

The numbers in the if statement, in this case 1 - 9999, define the acceptable range for the program number.
