Issue:

Some BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) projects are not displayed in the File Open window (Open > BIM 360) or in the Revit Home page.

In some instances, a message appears when trying to do the following:
  • When trying to initialize cloud-worksharing in BIM 360 in a Revit model.
  • When trying to open a cloud-workshared model from BIM 360 in Revit.
"You are not a member of any projects."

Error message: You are not a member of any projects.

Note: There may be files or projects shown but some files may be missing.

Causes:

Potential causes include:
  • You have not yet been invited to any BIM 360 or ACC project with sufficient access permissions.
  • You have multiple email addresses and are logging in with the email address that has not been invited to a BIM 360 or ACC project.
  • The BIM 360 or ACC projects you have been invited to contain only Revit models from other Revit versions.
    • Note: BIM 360 and ACC projects are locked to the version of the first cloud-workshared Revit model that has been published to the project from Revit.
  • The BIM 360 or ACC projects you have been invited to do not contain any cloud-workshared models at all.
  • Server side outage or degradation

Use the following wizard for interactive guided troubleshooting:

Manual troubleshooting

Contact your BIM 360 project administrator with the following requests:

  • Check if you are invited to a BIM 360 with the same email address that you are using to sign in to Revit.
  • Check if you have sufficient permissions in the folders containing the Revit model.
    • Note: View+Download permissions required to link models in Revit, View+Upload+Download+Edit permissions required to collaborate or to initiate collaboration for Revit models.
  • If the project is set up with Design Collaboration, check if you have been added to a Design Collaboration team.
  • Check the Revit version (2020, 2021, 2022) that is used in the BIM 360 project: How to check the version of a Cloud project.
  • If needed, Project Admins can upgrade a project to a newer Revit version: Revit Cloud Model Upgrade Tool.

Self-help options:

  • Sign in to the BIM 360 web interface with the same email address that you are using to sign into Revit. Check if you can access and download the same models that you are trying to access through Revit.
    • If you can't access the project through a browser, check if there is an outage or service degradation for Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud Models on https://health.autodesk.com/
  • Open different versions of Revit and find which one shows the missing projects in BIM 360.
  • Download one or more of the Revit models. Open the downloaded models in different versions of Revit until the versions match.

Create a brand new project in the required version of Revit if needed:

  1. Create a new BIM 360 or ACC project.
  2. Initiate the models to the cloud in the desired version of Revit.
