"HTTP Error 500.24 - Internal Server Error" appears when starting Vault Thin Client

Issue:

When starting Vault Thin Client the following message appears.

HTTP Error 500.24 - Internal Server Error

An ASP.NET setting has been detected that does not apply in Integrated managed pipeline mode.

Solution:

Follow these steps:
  1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
  2. Click on the Sites "Your Website Name"
  3. Click Authentication
  4. Set Disabled in "ASP Net Impersonation"
  5. Restart IIS
