Issue:

How to measure to get the XYZ delta between two objects without vertices in Fusion, for example, a curved edge and edge chain without a defined corner point.

Solution:

XYZ delta is only available when measuring the vertices, therefore points will need to be created on edges that do not have 'snap' points defined in the measure tool.

The following procedure is the least number of features to achieve this:

  1. Under Construction, select, Point along Path at the bottom.
  2. Select the Curved edge.
  3. Pick the proportion or physical location along the curve.
  4. Select okay.

Next measure the points using "Snap":
  1. Open the Measure tool.
  2. Click the First point created above.
  3. Enable "Show Snap Points".
  4. Pick the midpoint snap of the required Edge
  5. Enable XYZ Delta
