Issue:

You would like to know how to start the Windows System Information and generate a NFO report?

Environment:

Microsoft Windows

Solution:

  1. Click the Windows Start logo.
  2. Type "MSINFO32" or navigate to and click %windir%\system32\msinfo32.exe. This opens the "System Information" Window.
  3. To save the file in the native NFO format, from the File down menu, click Save.

  1. Save the file to a location.
  2. If sending the file into Autodesk Support, ensure that you compress it first, before attaching it to any support case or email.
