Issue:

How to add a font file to AutoCAD for Mac.

Solution:

AutoCAD for Mac supports SHX and TrueType fonts.

TTF fonts:

Double-click the TTF font file to install it to the Mac.

SHX fonts:

Follow these steps:
  1. Place the SHX fonts in a folder.
  2. Open any drawing in AutoCAD for Mac.
  3. Click AutoCAD for Mac menu > Preferences > Application.
  4. Click on Support file search path.
  5. Click + at the bottom of the window.
  6. Navigate to and select the folder containing the SHX fonts.
  7. Click OK.
