Issue:

How to reset Dynamo for Civil 3D to default. This could be necessary when:

  • Dynamo not launching or crashing on launch 
  • User Interface corruption or generally poor performance
  • DynamoSettings.xml have been accidentally deleted or modified
  • To clear recent graphs in Dynamo Home

Solution:

To reset Dynamo for Civil 3D, recreate the default DynamoSettings.xml and remove all installed Dynamo Packages, delete the following folder then restart Civil 3D:

%appdata%\Autodesk\C3D 20xx\Dynamo

Tip: A path beginning and ending with % is a shortcut to the current user profile.
