"Installation incomplete. Some product failed to install" due to error code 1631 when installing Autodesk 2021 products

Issue:

When installing version 2021 of an Autodesk software product, the following error message may appear:

"Installation incomplete. Some products failed to install.
Install error 1631. The Windows Installer service failed to start. Contact your support personal."

The Install log stored in the %TEMP% folder, may show the following messages referring to an error code 1603

Solution:

In order to solve the issue, try the following:
  1. Important: Disable any antivirus and/or firewall temporarily.
  2. Uninstall the Autodesk Licensing Service. See: How to uninstall Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service.
  3. Reinstall it. See: How to download and install Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service.
  4. Attempt to install the product again.
