Overview of Gather System Information command from Fusion Service Utility

Issue:

From the Fusion Service Utility, there is a command to Gather System Information. This command is helpful for sharing information about Fusion and your computer with Autodesk (like when submitting a support request).

Solution:

This solution will collect application, installation, and web service log files as well as a system information from your computer to help reduce iterations and improve efficiencies when requesting help. 

To Gather System Information:

  1. Launch Fusion Service Utility. See How to launch the Fusion Service Utility

    The Service Utility may be manually invoked in-product from the Help > Support and Diagnostics > Service Utility command.

  1. Select Gather System Information.  

  1. Wait while the system gathers the information and then select Open File Location when the subsequent dialog appears: 

 

  1. Share the resulting zips with Autodesk for help.
