Issue:

Users reported that when publishing a specific Revit model to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Docs or BIM 360 Document Management, the file processing is not completed on the web browser and the following message is displayed:

"Processing error. Some commands aren't available."

Processing error. Some commands aren't available.

Causes:

  • Revit publish settings contain large numbers of 2D views and sheets or complex elements causing system timeouts.

  • "Show Ambient Shadows" is checked in the Graphic Display options leading to longer raster processing.

  • Model complexity leading to "out of memory" message while publishing files from Revit.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, try the following:

Review published 2D Views and Sheets

  1. Reduce the number of 2D Views and Sheets from the Revit publish setting

  2. Or create a set of published views

  3. Republish the model to ACC Docs or BIM 360 Document Management.

Purge the file

  1. Run the Purge Unused command

  2. If multiple elements are shown (a few thousand) reduce them

  3. Sync the changes

  4. Republish the model to ACC Docs or BIM 360 Document Management

  5. Repeat the steps for linked files.

Sync and republish

  1. Apply some changes to the complex elements in the model

  2. Sync to Central

  3. Publish to ACC Docs or BIM 360 Document Management from Revit Home.
