Issue:

How much hard disk space is required for Revit cloud worksharing models?

Solution:

Revit

When opening a model Revit will expand the compressed RVT file into the Windows Temp folder, and into memory (RAM). Depending on the operations occurring in Revit this could use up to 20 times the file size.

Cloud Models

As described in the Revit System Requirements "Revit Cloud Worksharing | Disk Space    Three times (3X) the total disk space consumed by equivalent RVT files for all cloud workshared projects accessed by the user."
