RPC content is missing when rendered in Revit

Issue:

  • When rendering a view in Revit, the RCP (Rich Photorealistic Content) is missing from the render.
  • Before the render attempt, the RPC remains gray and shows as a cube in the view in Revit.

Causes:

Insufficient permission or DLL (Dynamic Link Library) issue.

Solution:

Run Revit with administrator privileges using the following steps:
  1. Select the Windows start menu.
  2. Search Revit 20xx.
  3. Right-click on the Revit icon.
  4. Select Run as administrator.
  5. Try rendering again.
