Express Tools missing from the Ribbon in non-English AutoCAD installations

Issue:

In non-English localized version of AutoCAD, the Express Tools are missing from the Ribbon.
  • Express Tools commands are still recognized.

Solution:

  1. Install the English language pack for AutoCAD. See: Download and install language packs.
  2. Navigate to the following folder:
    • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20XX\RXX.X\enu\Support
  3. Copy these 3 files:
    • acetmain.cuix
    • acetmain.mnr
    • acetmain_light.mnr
  4. Paste them in this folder:
    • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20XX\RXX.X\<language>\Support
  5. Lauch AutoCAD and open a drawing.
  6. Enter CUILOAD at the command line.
  7. Navigate to and load the following file:
    • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20XX\RXX.X\<language>\Support\acetmain.cuix
