Insufficient RAM or virtual memory.
Within your system, check the following:
Use the information from the following article to identify if the system has enough RAM to work with the model: How to calculate RAM required for a specific project size in Revit
If the system RAM is insufficient, check if you can increase the system RAM.
Turn off worksets: Use the info from the following article for information on How to turn off worksets when opening models
If the amount of system RAM appears sufficient for the model, go through the following steps to check for other applications that may be using up the system RAM:
Restart the system (to free up memory used by other applications/services).
Run Revit by itself (no other programs loaded/running).
If the error does not occur when running Revit by itself, start other applications (individually or in groups) to try to identify what is using up the system RAM.
