Issue:

After upgrading the Operating System, there is a noticeable degradation in performance with AutoCAD. In some cases AutoCAD may crash.

Solution:

The driver for the graphics card may be corrupt or outdated.  

An update to the Operating System may introduce problems because of changes in technology or functionality. In most cases, a graphics driver may need to be repaired or updated.

The issue may be due to a faulty install or corruption of the application because of a system crash or update. One can easily reset the software or the worst-case scenario would be an uninstall and clean reinstall of AutoCAD.
