Issue:

How to change the graphics card used by Fusion within the software?

Environment:

  • Windows OS.
  • Dual graphics cards.

Solution:

The graphics card needs to be selected before launching the software:

  1. Verify the following:
    1. Dual graphics cards are available on the machine.
    2. The graphics card drivers are up to date.
  2. Right-click on the Autodesk Fusion Desktop Icon.
  3. Select "Run with graphics processor".
  4. Select the desired graphics card.
    • Note: It is recommended to use the dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA, AMD) instead of the integrated one.
  5. Should the graphics card be switched permanently, repeat the step 3 and select "Change default graphics processor".
  6. Select the preferred graphics processor for Autodesk Fusion360 (fusionlauncher.exe).
  7. Save the changes.
