"CorruptError: database disk image is malformed" when attempting to install or update Fusion

Issue:

When trying to install or update Fusion the following message appears:
 

"CorruptError: database disk image is malformed"

Problem installing Fusion 

Solution:

To workaround this issue perform the following steps:

  1. Delete the Webdeploy folder:
    • Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/
  2. Reinstall Fusion.
