Issue:

Is it possible to have multiple versions of Autodesk software installed on a computer?

Solution:

There is no limit to how many different versions of a particular program can be installed on one computer.

Note:

  • Depending on the licensing type, there may be restrictions as to how many instances can be opened at the same time (concurrent use).

  • For specific questions regarding concurrent use and how it pertains to licensing type, see Software License Agreements.

  • For products that automatically update, such as Fusion, only the latest version will be on the machine.

  • Since InfoWater Pro runs as an extension in ArcGIS Pro, only one version can be installed on the machine.

  • Other products, such as Infraworks, only allow a single version of the software to be installed on the machine at a given time.

  • The system should meet minimum hardware requirements.

  • For better performance the system should possess robust hardware.
