Update drawings status in Document Manager not changed when page header is not up-to-date in Advance Steel

Issue:

Users reported that the Document Manager shows the detail drawing in the "Up to date" category after the element material or quantity change. The drawing page header includes the tokens for "Quantity" and "Material", and it still shows the previous values.
 

Causes:

The update status in Document Manager is based on the details & BOM lists status, and not on the page header tokens.
If the detail itself contains the token for Quantity or Material (in the title, or any label), the drawing is shown in the "Update required" category. But if the tokens are shown only in the page header, the drawing remains in the "Up to date" category.
 

Solution:

Use one of the following methods:
  • Use the "Force update" option from Document Manager.
  • Update the page header only, using the dedicated command "Update page header". The command updates the page header for all generated drawings in one step.
    • Ribbon: Labels & Dimensions > Management --> Update page header
