"An error has occurred" when viewing model in BIM 360 Model Coordination

Issue:

Users reported that some project members are not able to open models in BIM 360 Model Coordination.
This message is displayed when trying to view the models: 

An error occurred. Try again later.

An error has occurred. Try again later. in BIM 360 Model Coordination

  • The same models display a red exclamation mark in Document Management. The error in the exclamation mark is: "Failed to fetch document details. Click to retry".

Causes:

There is a permission issue with the project member.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, do one of the following:

  • Reassign the role or company to the project member, making sure they are active.

  • Remove the member from the project and re-invite.
